FTPB News n°3 - 19 September 2006 |
||
|
July and August are traditionally quieter at FTPB — and going
away for three to four weeks on a family holiday in August remains a
highlight of the year in France, to the point where some companies shut down
for the summer recess.
Everyone is now back in the office and we
hope you all had a pleasant and relaxing break, if you did go away. The last
four months of the year promise to be very busy here at FTPB, if only because
we have three press trips in the pipeline, all of them due to take place in
October and November.
The first one will take three British journalists to Nice and
Marseille in October and concerns the electronics industry — the
hi-tech
The second press trip, also in October, will take a truly pan-European
delegation of journalists — two British, one Belgian, one Danish and
two German — to South-Eastern France in the field of ceramics. The
stress will be on quality and traditional earthenware products, and on the
century-old crafts involved in making them.
Finally, the third press trip, in November, will take another
delegation of journalists from all over Europe — including British ones
— to Aeromart
This expanded FTPB team will enable us to work better and more closely
with the press and with our partners. And, if you want to celebrate the
Entente Cordiale, I suggest you attend the London-Paris Festival (8-9 October
- http://www.iq2londonparisfestival.com),
which promises to be exciting and informative all at once.
I hope you enjoy this third issue of FTPB News, the news bulletin of
the French Technology Press Bureau in
